Nadine G. Honey, 88 of Caldwell, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at a local care facility. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11th at Middleton Cemetery, Middleton under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Nadine was born July 13, 1923 to Cortez and Angeline Leach Evans. She moved with her family to Idaho at a young age, settling in Caldwell in her later years. Nadine was a true homemaker. She worked for JR Simplot Company for a while, but preferred to stay home where she loved to garden and spend time outside.
Being a good listener, Nadine was well loved by her family and friends. She always made time for anyone who needed to share their troubles, needed advice or simply wanted her company.
She was a member of the Caldwell Eagles.
Nadine is survived by her daughter, Linda Davis of Emmett; her son, Loren Dana of Caldwell; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four of her six children; her husband, Ernie Honey; all of her siblings; and her parents.
