May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow...
For every tear, a smile.
For every care a promise and a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share.
For every sigh, a sweet song and an answer for each prayer...

To all you guys who "sag" your pants and show your butt and
underwear..did you know it originated in prison? It was a signal to
the other MEN that you are "available". So if you wanna keep going
around looking like your "available" for another dude to "tap that"...
then keep thinking your cool while I think you look like a Fool!!!

"Person I Admire the Most" (Amanda's Essay she had to write for School)
My mother is the most admirable person in my life. She's been understanding about all my choices I've made, good and bad. She holds so much patience, like it's a way of life. She always been there for me, through thick and thin.
I've made some choices in my life I wasn't too sure of. My mother was right there to reasure me along my journey through this thing called life. She praises me as she knows I've made good decisions. And, she understands that when life gets hard, it's very easy to get off track and loose sight of where I'm headed. When I fall, she understands. She's the main reason I keep getting up.
My mother is the appitamy of "Patience". When I was young, about five or six, I had a friend stay the night. When everyone was asleep especially my mom, my friend and I went into the bathroom and poured the hand soap all over the floor. We were slipin and slidin all over the bathroom floor. What a blast! Then... mom came in. Like two deers in a headlight, stopped dead in our track, well, we tryed but with all the soap on the floor didn't hinder us from sliding as our bodys were still. Mother stood there for a second. Looking at us with her patient eyes quiet as a mouse. She stepped into the bathroom and pushed herself off like she was on a ice skating rink. She slid over to us next to the tub. Her soft hands held ours. Her words spoken so softly, "Lets wash your feet and change to pajamas, you can clen this up in the morning". With that said, we wasshed off our feet that smelled like whipped honey, got into out footsie pajamas and went to bed. When we awoke in the morning there were towels in front of the bathroom door. She took pictures of us cleaning up the bathroom. She was so patient with us.
Like I said before, life gets hard sometime. And no matter what the cause, My mother's always there. I've ran out of gas several times in my car and with one quick call she's there like Super Woman. It doesn't matter if she's in the middle of dinner or reading a book. She comes. If I'm having a bad day I know I can always call her and she'll be on that phone with me saying "It's okay baby girl, this too will pass". And they always do.
In addition to my Mothers outstanding ability to be understanding, patient and reliable, she is THE best mother. I admire her every capabillity. Shes taught me to be the best I can be. And..... I am!
(Amanda wrote this for her class she had to write an Essay and she wrote this in May of 2011 age 22. Oh how I remember this night, how cute they were in that bathroom. I am very proud of my baby girl. And oh how much I love my baby girl! I Thank the Good Lord Every Day that he Gave YOU... AMANDA RAE to ME!)

To My Mom in Heaven
If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me ▬▬▬ place them in my Mom's arms and tell her they're from me. ▬▬▬ Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, ( ◕‿◕。) ღ ❤ place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Happy Mother's Day Mom - I miss you every minute of every day!
Just Thoughts!
Some people try to turn back their odometers.
Not me!
I want people to know 'why'
I look this way.
...I've traveled a long way
and some of the roads weren't paved.
"It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage."
It's not the destination, it's the journey!
How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said? ( and this would be my Stephanie!) LOL

Now I lay me down to sleep, one less terrorist this world does keep, with all my heart I give my thanks, to those in uniform regardless of ranks, you serve our country and serve it well, with humble hearts your stories tell, so as I rest my weary eyes, while freedom rings our flag still flies, you give your all, do what you must, with God we live and God we trust.Amen

MY WORDS FOR MY DAY!
I am glad in my heart, for it is strong and happy. And my Brother I see our Father in your eyes even though he may be hiding behind the expression on your face. I hear our Father in the words that you speak, an...d within the things you teach. Our hearts DO Beat together like this mornings thunder of the Buffalo as they cross these Great Plains, ahhhh I hear their music too, along with our Father's as he hears them. Our Mother's milk never dries and they both will comfort us when our hearts are in need. We can only hope for those who are lost in their foolish pride that they can find Father. But if they don't all we can do is wish them well.

Story Of The Day.....nuclear power plants
Looking for a thousand volunteers to call the representatives:
March 2011 Residents Organized for a Safe Environment & Advocate Precautionary Principle & Coalition for the Reasonable and Ethical Environmental Decisions & Coalition of Alaskans for Saving our Environment:
Supports Rep Markey in his effort to close the 8 US nuclear power plants on fault lines.
• Wants to emphatically state that nuclear power is not a green alternative.
• Would like to share these facts: 1.When figuring the cost of nuclear power the government has never let us figure into the cost these factors: the cleaning up of the nuclear power plant and hauling away of contaminated materials after the closing of the power plant. 2. The cost of cleanup of a nuclear disaster. When you factor in these items nuclear power is the most expensive form of making electricity.
• Wants to phase out all 8 nuclear plants on fault lines in the US. Safety before profit!
• Supports “CREED” in asking for a reasonability review of the 1.5 billion electric rate increases.
• Is worried about the constant rebuilding and life extension of the San Onofre nuclear power plant.
• Is concerned about the constant problems with the safety program at San Onofre nuclear power plant.
• Is worried about the funding of any new nuclear power plants, we have now had three serious radiation leaks to go out onto the world (and still to be determined a problem with 6 reactors in Japan). We believe no solar or wind power plants have ever leaked radiation or polluted our world.
• Once again wants to ask the question: why should we have such an unsafe system of power (nuclear), when we have such clean sources as solar, thermal solar, wind?
• Wonders why in Sweden and France they have a safety filtration system if the power plant vents steam from its reactors, and the US nuclear regulatory commission & Japan decided against this final safety system, putting cost before safety?
• Is concerned that the San Onofre nuclear power plant is only designed for a magnitude 6.8 earthquake.
• Is worried that 23 US nuclear power plants are the same design (General Electric) as the 6 reactors that are melting down in Japan as we speak.
• San Onofre power plant has been leaking tritium for over 30 years (as have many other plants) into the ocean where you surf! Tritium is a radioactive isotope that bonds to the H2O molecule. Without a public report ever being made.
• Please join us in the big push to close the 8 US nuclear plants on fault lines. It is now time that we all stand up and be warriors for the Earth Mother if we want to leave the next seven generations a place to live.
• Wants to remove loan guarantees for nuclear power plants from the federal budget, and put back in loan guarantees for wind and solar.
• Is concerned about the 145 million pounds of nuclear waste in USA alone.
• Please call your Senators and Representatives and demand action. Close down the 8 US nuclear plants on fault lines.

Word's for the Day 3/3/2011

The dance is a spirit.
It turns the body to liquid steel.

The body can fly without wings.

The dance is strong magic.
The dance is life."

This Poem Will Give You Goose Bumps
A drunk man in an Oldsmobile
They said had run the light
That caused the six-car pileup
On 109 that night.
When broken bodies lay about
And blood was everywhere,
The sirens screamed out eulogies,
For death was in the air.
A mother, trapped inside her car,
Was heard above the noise;
Her plaintive plea near split the air:
Oh, God, please spare my boys!
She fought to loose her pinned hands;
She struggled to get free,
But mangled metal held her fast
In grim captivity.
Her frightened eyes then focused
On where the back seat once had been,
But all she saw was broken glass and
Two children's seats crushed in.
Her twins were nowhere to be seen;
She did not hear them cry,
And then she prayed they'd been thrown free,
Oh, God, don't let them die!
Then firemen came and cut her loose,
But when they searched the back,
They found therein no little boys,
But the seat belts were intact.
They thought the woman had gone mad
And was traveling alone,
But when they turned to question her,
They discovered she was gone.
Policemen saw her running wild
And screaming above the noise
In beseeching supplication,
Please help me find my boys!
They're four years old and wear blue shirts;
Their jeans are blue to match.
One cop spoke up, They're in my car,
And they don't have a scratch.
They said their daddy put them there
And gave them each a cone,
Then told them both to wait for Mom
To come and take them home.
I've searched the area high and low,
But I can't find their dad..
He must have fled the scene,
I guess, and that is very bad.
The mother hugged the twins and said,
While wiping at a tear,
He could not flee the scene, you see,
For he's been dead a year.
The cop just looked confused and asked,
Now, how can that be true?
The boys said, Mommy, Daddy came
And left a kiss for you.
He told us not to worry
And that you would be all right,
And then he put us in this car with
The pretty, flashing light.
We wanted him to stay with us,
Because we miss him so,
But Mommy, he just hugged us tight
And said he had to go.
He said someday we'd understand
And told us not to fuss,
And he said to tell you, Mommy,
He's watching over us.
The mother knew without a doubt
That what they spoke was true,
For she recalled their dad's last words,
I will watch over you.
The firemen's notes could not explain
The twisted, mangled car,
And how the three of them escaped
Without a single scar.
But on the cop's report was scribed,
In print so very fine,
An angel walked the beat tonight on Highway 109.
He who has a thousand friends has not a friend to spare.

be still until the sunlight pours through and dispels the mists

"Peanuts" the well fed dog
abt 1970 , Weippe, Clearwater Co, Idaho, USA
Memories written by Grand-daughter Tonie (Kannada) Campbell on Ancestry.com
I remember as a young girl our family lived in a small town in Northern Idaho, called Weippe. In is located in the Clearwater Mountains. Population 713. In the year of 2007 I went there the population is now 416.
We lived in a mobile home just outside of town on a 5 acres of land. My dad, Leroy build an addition on to the back door for Grandma Sarah "Sally" (Goswick) Pike. I can't recall how long she lived with us. Gramdma Pike had a little dog. His name was "Peanut". My dad, Leroy was a logger working for Carl Finke. My mom, Beverly was working at a small grocery store in town, place called Snyder's.
My dad, Leroy hunted a lot so we had lots of meat in our deep freezer. Mom, (Beverly) became confused about the disappearing of alot of this meat in the freezer. She couldn't figure it out. This went on for sometime. Mom (Beverly) came home early one day to find the answer to the disappearing meat. Grandma Pike was sitting at the kitchen table. On the floor there was a plate with a large Elk steak all fried up and cut into tiny peices so "Peanuts" could eat it.
My Grandma loved her dog just as much as she loved all of us. I, myself think that's pretty dare cool

Dedication From Daughter Tonie Lynn (Kannada) Campbell
The song "THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS" was played at my moms' funeral. But these are the words that are written in this song that comes deep in my heart.
To you MOM- "So, I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. A beautiful face with out a name for so long, a beautiful smile to hide the pain. Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything I would like to be? I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.
It might have appeared to go un-noticed, but I've got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it, I would be nothing without you.
DID YOU EVER KNOW THAT YOU'RE MY HERO, AND EVERYTHING I WOULD LIKE TO BE? I CAN FLY HIGHER THAN AN EAGLE, 'CAUSE YOU ARE THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS, "YOU ARE THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS"
Fly, Fly, fly away, you let me fly so high. Oh, fly fly, so high against the sky, so high I almost touch the sky. Thank You, Thank You, THANK GOD FOR YOU, THE WIND BENEATH MY WINGS"
"I MISS YOU SO VERY, VERY MUCH MOM, I THINK OF YOU EVERY SINGLE DAY. I MISS YOU SO, SO BADLY.
Because of those ugly words that Emil said to me the day you died, for the first 3 years after you were gone I cried every single day, it took me that 3 years to know in my heart that I was not your biggest disappointment in your life like Emil told me.
I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH, MOM. REST IN PEACE!

Finding Out About This Man
Found on Feb 2001 , Clearlake, Lake Co, California, USA
I found this name on a application of name change for Social Security.
It wasn't until after mom had died when my sisters Lillian, Debbie, and myself had sorted through moms stuff, that I found an application that mom had filled out for a name change, for a new social secuity card. The second name that she listed as names she had used, was the name of Powell. She had never told us of this man. Now she's not here to tell us about him. I will be going to Baker County to find out who this man was!!!
It wasn't until I was back home in California and went through the stuff I kept of my moms. And I'm glad I kept the little things like this. Who knew???

HEADQUARTERS
ALLIED AIR FORCES
SOUTHWEST PACIFIC AREA
OFFICE OF THE COMMANDER
March 5, 1945.
Dear Mrs. Pike:
Recently your son, Sergeant Leroy Kannada, was decorated with the Air Medal. It was an award made in recognition of courageous service to his combat organization, his fellow American airmen, his country, his home and to you.
He was cited for meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flights in the Southwest Pacific Area from October 16, 1944 to November 26, 1944.
Your son took part in sustained operational flight missions during which hostile contact was probable and expected. These flights included bombing missions against enemy installations, shipping and supply bases, and aided considerably in the recent successes in this theatre.
Almost every hour of every day your son, and the sons of other American mothers, are doing just such things as that here in the Southwest Pacific.
Theirs is a very real and very tangible contribution to victory and to peace.
I would like to tell you how genuinely proud I am to have men such as your son in my command, and how gratified I am to know that young Americans with such courage and resourcefulness are fighting our country's battle against the aggressor nations.
You, Mrs. Pike, have every reason to share that pride and gratification.
Sincerely,
(signature of-)

LIFE and CRUEL CURVES
1950's , Washington and Iowa, USA
Ethel (my dad's 2nd wife) left Leroy (my dad) taking all 5 children. She went to Fairfield, Iowa. She then married Gene Luke. They had 3 more little boys. Apparently Gene and Ethel separated. Then Ethel had left all 8 children home alone by theirselves for 2 long weeks. She never went back home. Patti at the age of 7 years old was left by herself to take care of these brothers, that's 7 boys meaning there's 8 children all together! Patti was seven, the twins- Danny and Donny were 8, Stephen was 5 and Terry was 4, Randy the baby was just a couple months old. Rodney and Ricky ages are unsure of at this time. For a couple of weeks Patti was left alone to take care of these children. The Social Services had learned of this. All these children were placed in an orphanage. Several family members were wanting to adopt these children. But Ethel was no where to be found. And no one knew where to find Leroy, for he had remarried and moved to Idaho. A year later they found Leroy. He then learned what had happened and was asked to sign adoption papers for the twins- Danny and Donny, Patti, Stephen and Terry. I can't even imagine what all these children had to go thru and all the hurt!
I do not know what happened to the 3 youngest boys, Rodney, Ricky and Randy. They, too, are part of this family.
So, Milo and Pearl (Riedel) ANDERSON adopted Terry and Stephen.
Leo and Pearl RIEDEL adopted Danny, Donny and Patricia.
In the beginning they were all AUNTS and UNCLES. Now they're all MOMS and DADS.
My name is Tonie Lynn (Kannada) Campbell, I am a younger sister to all those above. I know how hard it is for me to put all this into words. So others can understand this total mess my dad and his ex-wife Ethel has left behind! And how much I missed out on knowing my brothers and sister. How I found them is a whole new chapter. Someday that'll be written too. I talk to Patricia (Patty) every single day, and I get to talk to my brother, Terry on the phone sometimes. But we email often. But one things for sure they will ALWAYS be in my life, NEVER LEFT BEHIND EVER AGAIN!!!
I LOVE YOU ALL and YOU ARE ALL A BIG PART OF THIS AMAZING FAMILY!

The "OASIS" Movie that Stephanie Campbell was in
2003 , California, USA
Stephanie plays a part in this restaurant scene in this movie "OASIS"
We had moved to Clearlake, California, November of 2000. Stephanie became best friends with Stirling Freeman. Stirling had been in several movies such as "Princess Diaries". Stirling's stage name is Stirling Moriah.
In 2003, Stirling was one of the main actress in the movie, "Oasis" by Hollie Lamarr, Director/Writer/Editor. This film was first aired at the "Sundance Film Festival". Then it was Nominated at the 2006 "Honolulu Rainbow Festival" for BEST SHORT FILM!
Stirling played the part of "Alex", a trouble teenage girl who committed suicide at the end of this film. There is a restaurant scene in this film where Stephanie and some other young lady are sitting at at table discussing basketball. Stephanie said this girl never once said anything about basketball cause she knew nothing about the game, so Stephanie had to help talk her thru this. So Stephanie is the one talking and the other gal is just moving her lips.
Stephanie said that while watching them film this movie, she was amazed at how so very real they made everything look. When they got to the part of Stirling "Alex" committing suicide, Stephanie said it was so, so, so real. It took a long time for Stephanie to come to grip that it wasn't real.
You can go to the web site- oasismovie.com and see a part of this movie. I am going to be getting this movie. It is now 2008 and I still haven't seen this movie. I do know that the version that they have for the 2006 Festival has been shorten. I'll be getting the 2003 version.
Sterling's mom, Tammy is also an actress. Tammy played in the movie "Matrix Reloaded" with Keanu Reeves. And several other movie with Keanu Reeves.
I am a very proud mother of each and every one my children. They all have done very, very good in their lives. I am so VERY, VERY PROUD of STEPHANIE, JEREMY and AMANDA!

When You Thought I wasn't Looking
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator,
And I wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you feed a stray cat,
And I thought it was good to be kind to animals.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw you make my favorite cake just for me,
And I knew that little things are special things.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I heard you say a prayer,
And I beleived there is a God I could always talk to.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I felt you kiss me goodnight,
And I felt loved.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw tears come from your eyes,
And I learned that sometimes things hurt,
But it's okay to cry.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I saw that you cared,
And I wanted to be everything that I could.
When you thought I wasn't looking,
I looked-
And wanted to say thanks for all the things that I saw
When you thought I wasn't looking.

I found this poem, typed it out, and I hand-made a frame for it, for my beautiful mom years ago. It hung in her home all those years on her refrigerator. Her Pastor read this poem at her funeral. I got this back when she past. I miss her so very much.

No Tears Please
If tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things, We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name, And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready, In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for, So much left yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all that we shared, And all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized, That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss some tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did, My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gate, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity, And all I've promised you."
Today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, But today will always last,
and since each day is the same way, There's no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart.
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,

The - rrinaldi.com Story
McMinnville, Oregon
My Uncle Corky ( everyone else knows him as "Curt"... real name Cortez Jr.) Has a true love of airplanes. He has flown and owned a few of his own. I hope that someday he'll write his story in our web site Ancestry.com because they are worth reading. He doesn't fly planes any more. One day he called me up... told me to check out this web site and make sure I checked out the photo's. Well, I thought I had. What a goof I was- he is in some of the photo's on this " rrinaldi.com " web site. The story is even just as neat. Our Uncle Corky help build this Sopwith Camel, World War I Fighter Plane in the photo's in the web site. This Sopwith Camel is now park right next to the famous Howard Hughes plane, "the Spruce Goose", at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville Oregon. Please do check out the web site, it is worth reading and see the photo's of Uncle Corky and the others assembling this World War I gem.

Thought For My Day
You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.
My Thoughts On Global Warming!
Okay let me throw this at cha, see what cha think. Okay... Our ice packs are melting quicker than ever now...right? So as they melt....this adds more water to our oceans...right? Which will add more moisture.... which brings more rain....right? Now with more rain....you will get more clouds....right? With more clouds comes less sun....right? I think our winter months have shifted and I actually think we are heading into another ice age and if this keeps up like it is now we may be seeing the very beginning of it. If we don't then I'm pretty sure our children will.
Simple Mathmatics For Ground Hogs Day!!!!
If the groundhog sees his shadow ~ 6 more weeks of winter
If the groundhog does not see his shadow ~ 6 weeks til spring
Do not care how ya see it ~ still 6 weeks til warmer weather ~ simple mathmatics

"Sharks Chase Local Man and 'Sabu' Two Miles to Shore!" News Paper Story abt 1945
A two-mile swim to shore with a school of sharks tagging along was a recent experience of Sgt. Leroy Kanada of Wenatchee, and a companion, members of the 13th army air force in the Far East, according to an Associated Press story released today.
Kanada's companion was none other than Sabu, the former "elephant boy" of the movies, now Sgt. Sabu Dastagir of the AAF. The AP story was written by Fred Hampson, war correspondent with the 13th army air force. It follows:
THIRTEENTH ARMY AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS, Far East (AP)- Sabu is a ball turret gunner now.
The former "Elephant Boy" of the movies- Sgt. Sabu Dastagir- mans a set of twin-fifty caliber guns in one of the 13th army air force's Liberators attached to the famous Lone Ranger bomber groups.
He has piled up about 30 missions all the way from Borneo to the Philippines.
The young Hindu whose nimble antics and flashing-smile made him a screen favorite, is popular with his pals in the Lone Ranger outfit. On his cot in a tent, the floor of which is coral, his gear piled all about him, you would never dream that he still holds a fat contract with a Hollywood studio.
Oddly, Sabu has had his closest call during off-duty boating. "It was worse than the flak over Balikpapan," he said.
Sabu and fellow gunners Sgt. Leroy Kanada, Wenatchee, Wash., and S/Sgt. George S. Swing, Glendale, Calif., built a sail boat out of an old belly tank recently.
Sabu and Kanada were carried two miles to sea on the maiden voyage. They attracted a school of sharks just at the time a wave swamped the boat. They swam ashore with the sharks, more curious than hungry, tagging after them.
Sabu is credited with one "smoker." During a Borneo raid, he got one burst into a Zero. It was smoking when it disappeared in a cloud.

My Rendezvous 1840's Life Styles
A Person Letter We Got From Actor Patrick Gorman how AWESOME IS THAT!!!
Tonie & G.D.,
Mountain rendezvous sounds just right to me. When I was a boy I spent every summer in the mountains in a log cabin. Spent a lot of time in tents too. I apologize for taking so long to respond. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance here in this virtual world of Facebook. I take it you’ve contacted me because of my work in GETTYSBURG and GODS & GENERALS and I truly thank you for your support.
Here’s a proposition. I’ve been asking all the GETTYSBURG and GODS & GENERALS fans to go on-line and ‘click on’ those films, AND me in the cast. Although THE LAST FULL MEASURE is unlikely to come to the screen, we still want more Civil War films, right?
There is a ‘BAND OF BROTHERS’ version of the Civil War in development on HBO (TO APPOMATTOX) and Spielberg’s LINCOLN is also in development.
Yes, if you click on my name on the IMDb you also boost my rating as an actor – blatant self-promotion, yes! BUT it serves us both because we all want more Civil War films. Ratings are considered by the powers-that-be.
HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT:
Go on-line and log on to www.imdb.com.
At the top in SEARCH, type my name, 'Patrick Gorman' then hit GO.
The ‘Patrick Gorman’ listing will pop up.
Under my pictures is a choice of clicking on my name or ‘GETTYSBURG'.
Click on GETTYSBURG.
The film site comes up.
Scroll down ‘cast.’
Find ‘Patrick Gorman’ and click.
My site pops up again.
The same works for GODS & GENERALS.
Do this as often as you want. The ratings change weekly so it’s on-going.
I thank you in advance.
Stay healthy and stay in touch.
Patrick Gorman

I Will Forever Say Thank You To Anyone in Uniform
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it
Thank You
It Has Been An Honor To Shake Your Hand!!!!!

No Greater Honor
I've carried children within my body. Slept with babies on my chest. I've kissed boo boos and mended broken hearts. I've been puked on, peed on, and spent sleepless nights in the rocking chair. But I wouldn't have it any other way. My body isn't magazine perfect, but when I look in the mirror I see a MOM, and there is no greater honor... or blessing!!
Thank You Jeremy, Stephanie, Amanda and all the Foster Children in my care!

In light of the tragedy in Tucson
To everyone who is calling for stricter gun laws in light of the tragedy in Tucson, may I offer this little tidbit: If guns kill people, then pencils misspell words, cars drive drunk, and spoons make people fat. Remember: Hold the person accountable for their actions, not the means they chose to utilize!!!

A Sioux Prayer
Translated by Chief Yellow Lark - 1887
Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds
Whose breath gives life to the world, hear me
I come to you as one of your many children
...I am small and weak
I need your strength and wisdom
May I walk in beauty
Make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made
And my ears sharp to your voice.
Make me wise so that I may know the things you have taught your children.
The lessons you have written in every leaf and rock
Make me strong!
Not to be superior to my brothers, but to fight my greatest enemy, myself
Make me ever ready to come to you with straight eyes,
So that when life fades as the fading sunset,
May my spirit come to you without shame.See More
